Common Questions

How do I import my Xcode colors?

Simply drag one or more .colorset folders into Resors. The app will automatically detect and display their color values for all appearance variants.

Alternatively utilize the Import command bar button to launch file picker.

What does “auto-detect” mean?

Resors automatically identifies color variants (Light, Dark, High Contrast) within your .colorset folders and previews them side by side with their exact color values.

Can I export colors back to Xcode?

Yes. Resors exports to Xcode .xcassets folders.

Does Resors support multiple colorsets at once?

Yes. You can import and manage multiple .colorset files simultaneously, making it easy to review and verify entire color libraries.

What color data does Resors show?

Each appearance variant includes HEX, RGB and Float RGB values, each color value can also define a color space, so you can precisely verify color consistency across Light, Dark, and High Contrast modes.

Why do my colors look different in Xcode?

Ensure your exported assets use the same color space as your Xcode project (sRGB is recommended). Resors previews colors using accurate color profiles to minimize discrepancies.
